Administration Orders

If, after paying your priority debts and expenses, you have some money left over and you have a County Court Judgment, you may be able to apply to the County Court for an Administration Order. This is a method of lumping all your non-priority debts into one regular sum.  You then pay the Court (who take a small administration fee) on a monthly basis and they in turn pay your creditors.

Your debts in total must be no more than £5,000 (this amount will increase to £15,000 in 2010) and your creditors will be unable to take any further action against you as long as you keep to the payments of the Order.

You can obtain an application form for an administration order from your local County Court.
