Intrum expands team as it re-enters DCA market in the UK

Intrum has appointed Emma Hardy as Business Development Manager, as the company returns to the contingency collections market in the UK.

The credit management group now offers a full UK debt collection agency service, allowing clients to benefit from continuous investment in collections technology and analytics whilst knowing their customers are in the safe hands of an award winning customer service provider.

Previously an Account Executive within the sector, Emma brings a wealth of experience in managing various clients across the banking and finance and debt purchase sector. Passionate about improving processes and delivering the best service possible, she will be helping new and prospective clients work with Intrum to solve their collections challenges.

“My experience in account management has enabled me to develop a real understanding of the challenges faced by firms, along with the importance of complying with industry standards of practice, particularly those linked to treating customers fairly,’’ she says.

"Intrum has an outstanding record for investment in its people and customers which in turn generates an exceptional service for clients.’’

Ian Davies, Intrum UK client and sales director, added: “We are delighted that Emma has joined the team as we expand our range of services to include a full DCA service in the UK to complement our early arrears services. She will be working closely with our existing and prospective clients to enable them to access our collections platform and industry-leading customer care.”
