We will need to contact you to verify your identity to avoid your personal data being sent to another individual, either accidentally or as a result of deception, and establish and locate the information you require us to act upon, whilst not compulsory. Where you are acting on behalf of an individual, we also need to verify your identity and authority, prior to releasing any personal data to you, relating to the Data Subject. Please note that where we are unable to establish your identity, to protect the rights and freedoms of the Data Subject, Intrum will be unable to comply with your request.

Your request will be processed within 30 days. On occasion, where we receive large numbers of requests, or especially complex requests, the time limit may be extended by a maximum of two further months. In such case we will keep you informed. Depending on the content of the response to your request, you may receive an email with a link to a secure page where you can see the response to your request, a letter which may be registered or the information may be personally delivered at our locations given appropriate ID. If there is no sensitive data or large amount of data in our reply we will contact you through ordinary communication channels.
