1st Credit deploys secure payments technology
Ethical debt purchaser 1st Credit has implemented a secure payments solution across its call centre.
Payment application Live Agent, provided by GCI, enables customer support representatives to take payments without the customer revealing any sensitive information. The customer completes the transaction during the call without the customer support representative seeing or hearing card details – which are entered on the phone keypad.
“We wanted to look at ways of completely removing the risk of handling card data through our systems,” said operations director Rob Lemon. “GCI presented us with an efficient, easy to use application that integrated with our existing technology.”
